I am not sure about sauce only contests, however, some of the BBQ Contests have a Sauce Category - Barbecue on the Bow - Calgary; Canadian Open BBQ Championships - Toronto; Southern BBQ Championships - St. Thomas to name a few...
You may want to look at some of the USA Contests as well - the Best of the Best Competition in Douglas, GA has a sauce portion that is only open to commercial sauces...
