I definitely can't make it this year, am booked with caters. I dont think Swines and Bovines competes any longer. Not sure about Diva.

We are already booked for Roc City. We booked it earlier this year and we are booked for all 3 of their contests on the same weekend KCBS, ribs, and NEBS.

They did the early buy in package that saved you money when registering.

Hopefully the dates do not collide for next year.

BTW, we have a new smokehouse restaurant in the Ottawa area.

We now have a Traeger Junior smoker ($500 value!) as our prize.

Being a "Cherry" to the whole competition thing, can you get a little more specific about the amateur competition. Is there more than one rack of ribs to cook, type of ribs, set-up time etc? I can't find any specific info about the amateur competition anywhere. Could you provide a little more info?

BilderBeer Qers just registered on the Fair website for the Amateur Comp.

I am also a "Cherry" to the Competition BBQing so you veterns be nice!!!

Besides our smoker, what else do we need to bring, own sauce & rub, canopy tent, etc.... Any info would be appreciated.
