Thanks,

Hi Harley,

Johnny from Smoked meets again. Disregard my last post as I found the website and registered and paid on the site. Paul is listed as the head cook, but if you could copy me on the confirmation that would be great.

Thanks and looking forward to seeing everyone!

What place is this? We are trying out one today in Carlsbad Springs - called D & Southern Comfort BBQ. I never heard of one in Navan.

Rigger, we went to the D & S Southern Comfort BBQ in Carlsbad Springs last weekend. If you are looking for southern BBQ, this is your place. The food is fantastic, smoked brisket, ribs, both spare and back, pulled pork, beef ribs, you name it. They are having a Father's Day brunch where all manner of smoked items will be served. That was the first time we visited the place and it won't be the last. We are already booked for the brunch but I expect it will be calling our names again before then. Thanks to Harley for pointing this place out.

We would like some of your chorizo sausage. We will be judging that day so will seek you out. Maybe 2 pounds or so worth?

perfect for snacking, pastas, pizzas, or like a said earlyer wrapped inside the ATB's

cost is $2 per sausage and is well worth it, if your not sure come see me and try that weekend.

for those who don't know who I am,
I'm just a guy who loves food so much I made it a career, and know I'm hooked on BBQ.
I do my own butchery, sauces, rubs, and I play with all kinds of cured products.
Last year was our rookie year, we competed at Paris, Toronto, Listowel, Boston Hills, Wheatfield, and one other...sorry slipped my mind.
Great people make for great events, and I've been aprart of both!
Mike from Blowin Smoke, do you still have someone who can help me out? I may need a hand, is this person still at the same rate?...(this is one for those who were apart of the Listowel comp last year!!)

I had a great first year, looking forward to this one!
